Hey Mac Ach Well the good news is we got our Okidata to print with 10.4.3. In fact, that first page that comes out is really nice, crisp, easy to read. No complaints there.
However, we hit a big, big problem if we need to print more than 1 page of something. Precisely, we have preprinted invoices that we use, along with Filemaker Pro 7, but if we want to print multiple invoices out we get a vexing result: The first page prints fine, but doesn't advance the paper any to start the 2nd page..and therefore it starts to print really high on the 2nd page and starts the 3rd invoice at the bottom of that page, too.
I've tried 'tricking' Filemaker into sending a print job that's larger than 8.5x11 (setting the scale to 110% in Page Setup, extending down the actual invoice template by about 1/2'), but whenever I do it freezes the app and it crashes.
Anyone have a solution to this? I've been rackin' my brain over just getting our old system to something at least in OSX and it's SO CLOSE but damn this is ... yeah...vexing
For those who might need specs: iMac g5, OSX 10.4.3, Filemaker Pro 7, Okidata 320Turbo impact printer, using the generic ESP Okidata 9-pin print drivers.
